Expected Outcomes of the GreenWorks 4 Africa Forum
- An Africa Green Jobs Toolkit highlighting best practices from across the continent and investment-ready models with proven and proposed funding instruments. This will include a Green Jobs Taxonomical Standard for Africa aligned with the African Continental Qualifications Framework (ACQF).
- AGSO Africa inaugurated as a coalition platform consolidating commitments from employers, investors, academia and governments towards a common African green jobs and skills position for COP32.
- Adoption of an Africa-wide Green Jobs Development Accountability Framework by launching the Africa Green Jobs Index.
- Participant-led joint initiatives and pilot collaborations formed through thematic working sessions, side events and networking sessions at the Forum.
- The Forum Outcome Report presented to the African Union policy organs and positioned as a key continental input toward the COP 32 in Addis Ababa, consolidating Africa’s voice on green jobs and workforce transformation..
