This will be a continental forum that unlike a traditional conference or summit, GreenWorks 4 Africa is designed as a holistic co-creation and workshopping forum, a space for practitioners, policymakers, investors, young innovators and African governments to collaborate and co-design actionable solutions and reforms for the entire ecosystem of skills, policies and financing needed to advance Africa’s green economy.

Expected Outcomes of the GreenWorks 4 Africa Forum

A Case-Study based African Toolkit for Green Jobs Development highlighting best practices from across the continent and investment-ready models with proven and proposed funding instruments. This will also include a Green Jobs Taxonomical Standard for Africa.
Major Commitments from employers, investors, academia and governments to expand green job pipelines to be announced at the Forum’s High-Level Africa Green Jobs Development Event.
A Coalition or Alliance for Greening Skills and Opportunities (AGSO) - Africa, inaugurated at the Forum by participant stakeholders.
Joint initiatives and pilot collaborations emerging from thematic working sessions and side events at the Forum’s “Collaboration Café”.
