Four Deliverables. Zero Ambiguity.
Outcomes & Tools
INVESTABLE STANDARD
Deliverable 01: Africa Green Jobs Standard & Toolkit
The Africa Green Jobs Standard is the forum's most technically demanding output — a rigorously co-designed instrument that provides African governments, employers, skills developers, and investors with shared, Africa-owned definitions, measurements, and frameworks for green jobs and green skills development.
CONTINENTAL COALITION FRAMEWORK
Deliverable 02: AUC BACKED AGSO Charter/COALITION OF ACTORS
The Alliance for Greening Skills and Opportunities — Africa (AGSO) is the continental coalition framework adopted at GreenWorks 4 Africa. The Charter is not a declaration of intent. It is a formal governance document that commits signatory governments, institutions, and organisations to defined actions, timelines, and reporting obligations within the green workforce and enterprise development agenda.
EMPLOYER, INVESTOR & GOVERNMENT COMMITMENTS
Deliverable 03: Commitment Register
The Commitment Register is the forum's accountability instrument for specific, named commitments made by participating employers, investors, and governments to expand green job pipelines, deploy green finance, and adopt the Africa Green Jobs Standard within defined timeframes.
Unlike the communiqué model — where governments make broad commitments that are rarely tracked — the Commitment Register records: the committing institution by name; the specific commitment in measurable terms; the timeline for delivery; the reporting mechanism; and the public status of delivery against commitment. All entries in the Commitment Register are published and publicly accessible.
TRACKING & MONITORING MECHANISM
Deliverable 04: Accountability Framework
The Accountability Framework is the infrastructure that makes the forum's other deliverables durably consequential. It establishes the monitoring, reporting, and verification mechanisms through which all commitments made at GreenWorks 4 Africa and all implementations of the Africa Green Jobs Standard, are tracked, assessed, and publicly reported.
