Youth unemployment remains one of the biggest challenges across Africa. In Nigeria, over 40% of young people are unemployed or underemployed, despite growing demand for digital talent across industries.
In 2022, our organization launched the Digital Pathways Initiative (DPI) to bridge the gap between unemployed youth and the rapidly expanding digital economy.
Many young people, particularly in underserved communities, had the ambition to succeed—but not the tools, network, or access.
